This combination will allow reduction of time and cost associated with traditional mark out requirements. The Trimble 5800 rovers are VRS ready which means that when the Ordnance Survey introduce the eagerly awaited Virtual Reference Station for public use, clients will be able to use bluetooth enabled mobile phones to receive correction information without the need for a dedicated base station AAGL have successfully integrated the 5800 Rover with the GSSI Sir-20, and Sir-3000 radar systems allowing for real-time (not post processing) of GPS data. The Trimble 5800 will Interface directly with both instruments offering positioning information for each recorded file. The GSSI systems generate a TMF (Time Mark File) file for each DZT file and Radan 6.5extracts the information required to produce a route map as the example below.The 5800 rovers will also interface with a number of our instruments, including magnetometers, EM, or can be used simply forconventional surveying applications
