Ceasium Vapour Magnetometer
AAGL offer the Scintrex Smartmag, a Ceasium Vapour Gradiometer for hire.
Applications include:
- Ferrous Ordnance (UXO) detection
- Archeaology
- Location of drums & Tanks
- Mineral exploration
- Groundwater Studies
- Petroleum Exploration
- Environmental site characterisation.
This
fast recording system offers up to 10 readings per second, and can collect
and store 190,000 readings in gradiometer configuration.
The SM4 (Total Field) employs a single Smartmag system and sensor with
the Envi consol to offer a rapid data collection instrument displaying
results numerically or graphyically.
The SM4G (Gradiometer) employs two sensors, which can be deployed 0.5, 1, or 1.5m apart depending on application. Again the Envi console is used to store data, which can also offer antomatic calculation of diurnal corrections, and remove coarse magnetic biasl to simplify data plotting.
