December 2009 Horn antenna 4105NR introduced
We are pleased to announce the introduction to our rental pool of the new GSSI high frequency horn antenna for the evaluation of roads and bridges. The 4105 NR antenna employs patented interference reduction technology that improves noise immunity from common broadcast interference sources found in urban environments. This new technology uses advanced hardware and signal processing techniques that allow high-speed GPR data collection in noisy environments that were previously difficult for unshielded horn antennas. The result is the ability to collect high fidelity data at highway speeds even when operating in close proximity to strong broadcast transmitting towers.
The new air-launched Model 4105 NR antenna has a center frequency of 2.0 GHz, and a depth range of up to 2.5 feet. It can discriminate individual pavement layers to less than one inch thick. GSSI’s air-launched horn antenna calibration technique automatically recalculates the pavement velocity at each individual scan, with no need to core in order to calibrate the GPR system! Noisy environment? No problem. See clearly with GSSI’s new Model 4105 NR horn antenna. For more information on the new 4105 NR antenna, please contact For hire details ......more
